Ticket terms
Last updated 6 September 2026
These are the practical terms that apply to a ticket bought through TikoYetu today — not yet a complete, lawyer-drafted agreement (that's being written and will replace this page), but an accurate description of how it actually works.
One ticket, one entry. Each ticket has its own QR code that scans successfully exactly once. A ticket that has already been scanned in will not scan in again — don't screenshot-share a ticket you plan to use yourself.
Delivery. Your QR ticket is emailed the moment payment is verified as successful — never before, and never on an unconfirmed payment.
Event changes. Date, time, and venue are set by the event's organiser, not by TikoYetu, and can change. The event's own page always reflects the current details.
Cancellations. If an event is cancelled outright, ticket holders are refunded in full — see the refund policy.
Lost tickets. Use Find my ticket to re-find a ticket by email or order reference — it's the same ticket, not a new one.
