This page is an honest interim placeholder, not reviewed legal copy — it describes how things actually work today rather than a lawyer-drafted policy. It will be replaced with a fully reviewed version.

This page describes, in plain language, how ArtCollect and its ticketing arm TikoYetu actually work today. It is not a complete, lawyer-drafted terms-of-service agreement — that is being written and will replace this page before it should be relied on for anything beyond a plain-language summary.

What the site does. ArtCollect lets artists publish and sell original artwork, editions, and prints directly; lets visitors donate to published community art causes; and (via TikoYetu) sells tickets to real, organiser-listed events.

Payments. Payments are taken via M-Pesa or card. A ticket, receipt, or confirmation is only ever issued after the payment provider has confirmed the payment actually succeeded — never on an unverified callback alone.

Accounts. Buying a ticket or donating does not require creating an account. Artist and event-organiser applications are reviewed individually before anything goes live under their name.
