Regional Climate & Art Residency
A cross-border residency programme commissioning East African artists to respond to climate change: travel, materials, and stipends.
A cross-border residency commissions East African artists to respond to climate change in the region they live in — Rift Valley drought, coastal erosion, lake-level change. The fund covers travel between sites, materials, and a living stipend.
What a donation buys
- 55 USD — cross-border travel for one artist between residency sites
- 120 USD — a month's materials and studio costs
- 350 USD — a full residency month (travel, materials, stipend)
Resident artists and a site-impact ledger are published per residency cycle.
