Heritage-themed murals along the Mombasa old-town waterfront: UV-resistant paints, artist stipends, and community design workshops.

Mombasa's old-town waterfront is a UNESCO-adjacent heritage corridor — and its walls are crumbling plaster under the coastal sun. This fund paints them with UV-resistant heritage themes designed alongside the local community.

What a donation buys

  • 4,800 KES — UV-resistant paint for a ten-metre heritage panel
  • 10,000 KES — an artist's stipend week on the waterfront
  • 25,000 KES — a community design workshop with old-town residents

A wall-by-wall photographic ledger is published per panel finished.
