The story

The Machakos ceramics co-op digs its own clay, throws on a shared wheel bank, and fires in a communal kiln — but fuel and glaze chemicals are the line items that break every production cycle.

What a donation buys

4,500 KES — a kiln firing's fuel (charcoal and electricity top-up)
9,000 KES — a production run of glaze chemicals
26,000 KES — a new wheel for the shared bank

A firing-count and sales ledger is published per market cycle.
